2017 Meeting Presentations will be based on the BACCM – Business Analysis Core Competency Model: Change, Need, Solution, Stakeholder, Value, and Context. This month’s presentation is focused on VALUE.
Value2: Ensure requirements provide business value through understanding organizational and stakeholder’s core values
A significant challenge for BAs is to facilitate the delivery of business requirements that add value to the business’ bottom line. One reason is that individuals and organizations alike have difficulty articulating what they want – what it is that will add value to them.
In this presentation, an overview of various organizational personas will be presented along with how to use these Personas as a basis for mapping stakeholders to requirements value statement. Next an overview of Core Values and how they apply to the world of a BA will be presented. Finally, the two will be brought together with group breakout sessions to provide some real-world tools and techniques you can start using immediately.
