May 2016 Chapter Meeting - Analytics, Predictions and Uncertainty

Tuesday, May 17, 2016 -
4:30pm to 7:00pm

For better for worse, there is a spirit of 'everything is measurable'. We need to have signals and possibly barriers in place as to how far we extend this in the workplace, especially in creative work. The importance of people and process coupled with analytics technology has become increasingly important, though seems to be taking a back seat. A proper understanding of the human spirit, business culture and quality results help reframe the role of technology.
