Presentation:
LEARN HOW TO FOSTER A VOICE FOR YOURSELF AND THOSE AROUND YOU!
Communication is difficult. Words are often misunderstood or misconstrued. People are formulating their responses before you are done talking. Or, the response you receive is completely off topic and it is obvious they weren't listening to you. Communication doesn't have to be hard. Liysa will teach you to use improv principles to help you be heard and lead those wanting to help you be heard.

The objectives of the presentation include:
1) How to listen with yes, and
2) Avoiding self judgement to engage better
3) Reminders to live in the moment

Speaker Information:
Liysa Callsen is a speaker, coach, and comedian grew up with Deaf parents and her husband is Deaf too. Drawing on life experiences as bicultural and bilingual, she has studied how to help each other to be heard. Communication is key in any language. Liysa uses stories, improvisation, audience participation, and tips to help give you a fresh perspective on your obstacles. She will teach you to use humor in life and in business and teach you the art of communicating beyond words.
