Topic:  Differences and Unspoken Challenges

Who doesn't want to work with a great team, lead amazing transformations, create a positive impact, and be well-compensated for your work? It is more complicated than you could imagine. Top companies and researchers are working hard to crack the secret. In this session, Mei will share her personal stories and observations of current workplace DE&IBA development. No one is perfect, and the session aims to focus on how to recognize the difference among gender, color, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, ability, and various perspectives.

About the Speaker:

By day, Mei connects Project teams to deliver value. By heart, she fuels positivity and kindness to inspire leaders to do more and serve.

Mei was born and raised in Taiwan, where she received dual bachelor's degrees in Law and Social Work from National Taipei University. In 2008 emigrated to the United States and attended Texas A&M University-Commerce received an MBA. As a project manager and the Past President of the Project Management Institute (PMI) - Dallas Chapter, Mei views herself as a servant leader who builds collaborative teams while focusing on delivering value and culture transformation for organizations.

Mei currently works as Sr. Business Program Manager with Microsoft Area of Transformation Project Management Office. As the author of “Mommy is a Project Manager.” She devotes her time to eliminating gender bias for future generations.
