5:45pm - Presentation
6:45pm - Wrap-Up

Presentation Details:

Get ready for a different kind of “presentation” …  Bring your peers and colleagues along for a gameshow-like experience aimed to increase your knowledge in Agile and the Scrum framework.  The core of the game will focus on concepts taught in the Agile manifesto and the Scrum Guide.  More importantly, however, throughout the game we’ll take a few moments to discuss recommended best practices, threats to your success, and stories from years of past experiences.  We’ll learn from each other, collaborate together, and walk away with practical tips we can apply to our teams right away the next day.  Looking forward to "seeing" you there!

Speakers - Kurt Wondra and Rachael Wilterdink

Kurt Wondra is high-energy, well-rounded IT consultant.  He started his career as a Software Engineer and quickly realized a knack for business analysis and project management. He has been successful in understanding and communicating business requirements while also maintaining an appreciation for what it will take to implement the designed solution.  His clients have continually praised his ability to hit the ground running on new projects, organize work for his teams, and develop strong working relationships with stakeholders.  He has earned his MBA from UW-Oshkosh as well as the PSM I, PSM II, and PSPO certifications from Scrum.org.  Also, he is in the “home stretch” of acquiring the CBAP certification through IIBA.

Through his years as an IT consultant, Kurt has gained a vast number of experiences.  Having spent several years as a developer he’s familiar with the developer's perspective and has even served as Tech Lead on occasion.  Since his transition away from the technical side, Kurt has taken on a variety of roles on his other Agile teams.  Mainly Business Analyst, however Quality Assurance Analyst, Scrum Master, Product Owner, and Agile Coach have all been roles he's played.

Ms. Wilterdink is a Senior Business Analyst consultant and an Agile enthusiast, coach, and trainer for Skyline Technologies. She has 15 years of BA experience and 10 years of agile experience. Rachael holds multiple business analysis and agile certifications including: Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP®) from the IIBA®, Professional Business Analyst (PMI-PBA®) from PMI®, Professional Scrum Master (PSM®) from scrum.org, and Certified Scrum Master (CSM®) from Scrum Alliance.

As a consultant, Rachael has served clients in a variety of industries including financial, retail, manufacturing, healthcare, and insurance.

Ms. Wilterdink gives back to the educational community, serving as first chair on the advisory committee for the Business Analysis program at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College. Rachael is also a member of the advisory committee for the Software Development Program at Lakeshore Technical College.

Rachael has been speaking and sharing her knowledge and passion for many years at conferences and user groups in the region, including: WIBADD, Northeast Wisconsin Agile, SEW and NEW IIBA Chapters, BAWorld Chicago, Madison PMI, Fox Valley Business Intelligence meet-up, and others.
