Super Villains - Super Chapter Meeting

The SEWI Chapter Board was thrilled to see all who attended our first meeting of 2023 on September 27th! The in-person site was MGIC in Milwaukee - thank you MGIC - and we were also virtual.

Before the presentation, there was time for hearing from Board candidates, eating, and networking. Rachel Jackson from TEKsystems let attendees looking for roles know they could contact her.

Dave Saboe, an Enterprise Agile Coach, podcaster, and author, presented "Defeat the Meeting Super Villains".  He addressed that "In the United States alone, there are approximately 11 million business meetings every day and ineffective or unnecessary meetings cost organizations $37 billion every year.  These organizations need a hero. . . a Superhero to rescue them from the meeting Super Villains that lurk in the hallways, in meeting rooms, and on conference calls. These evildoers use their superpowers to destroy collaboration and delay projects.  You can be the Superhero that thwarts these villains and brings value back to meetings...you'll discover the tools and tactics that will help you to defeat these super villains and even turn them into allies."

It was highly interactive, and Dave graciously stayed to answer many questions.
